Availability Calendar: make the dates selectable

Default behavior

By default, the Availability Calendar can be found at the bottom of the accommodation type page. It is added automatically. The dates are not selectable, and the calendar is used to display the available and unavailable dates. The Availability Calendar can also be added to any page, post, or custom post type by using shortcode [mphb_availability_calendar id="777"], the Availability Calendar block, Elementor widget, and Divi module. 

It is possible to display the price of each date in the calendar by enabling the option in the settings of the plugin. If the calendar is added manually, you can enable the display of the prices by using the shortcode parameters, or by configuring the specific block, widget, or module.

The Availability Form is used to check the availability of current and other accommodation types, so it redirects to the search results page with the default configurations.

Make the dates selectable

The Hotel Booking plugin allows an owner to make the dates in the calendar selectable and check the availability without leaving the page of the accommodation type. For this, you need to follow the steps below:

• make sure the Availability Calendar and Availability (Booking) Form are added on the same page, post, or other post type.
• navigate to Accommodation > Settings and enable the Skip Search Results option.

  There are also 3 options available for the Direct Booking mode:
• Default: Check-in and Check-out fields without guest selectors and price.
• Show price for selected period: Check-in and Check-out fields without guest selectors, but the price is displayed.
• Show price together with the adults and children fields: Check-in and Check-out fields with guests selectors, and the price is displayed.
