How to set up different price for different amount of guests?

Pricing plays a massive role in any consumer business, but especially in those businesses that hold a seat in competitive industries such as rental and travel. This article will be extremely useful for the hosts whose prices depend on the number of guests or adults and children. 

The Hotel Booking plugin allows defining a price depending on how many and what kind of guests (adults or children) will use the room/unit. One rate ( per each Accommodation Type ) can be set to take care of all the combinations of guests. The system is very adaptable and can calculate a wide range of pricing cases.  

Here are the steps you need to follow:

1. Make sure that you’ve added all rental accommodations and created the needed seasons.
2. Then navigate to Rates > Add New.
3. Choose the accommodation type you will configure the price for and click on the “Create rate” button.
4. After configuring a base price, select the “Enable variable pricing” option. It will let you set extra price parameters based on the number of guests.

Please be advised that if any of the combinations are not applied, the base price will be involved. And vise versa there is no need to generate the variation if it coincides with the base price.                                                  

NOTE It is NOT possible to determine various prices for children depending on their age. 

 In finishing up, the Variable pricing feature is very handy, as it can be used to manage prices and increase the bottom line.
