Confirmation mode upon payment: How to enable payment gateways?

To get direct payments for the reservation made on your site you need to navigate to Accommodation > Settings and enable Confirmation mode upon payment. The reservation is confirmed automatically once the online payment is made.

After you save the changes you can go to Accommodation > Settings > Payment Gateways to set up the Type of Payment, add system pages, and enable the payment gateways

At the moment there are the following payment methods in the Hotel Booking plugin:

• PayPal
• 2Checkout
• Stripe
• Braintree
• Beanstream/Bambora
• Direct Bank Transfer
• Pay on Arrival

It is also possible to add a WooCommerce Checkout page with enabled woocommerce payment gateways to the booking process of the Hotel Booking plugin by using the Hotel Booking WooCommerce payments. You may check if the needed payment gateway can be used with WooCommerce and use our add-on to enable it for your guests.

• User pays - you can select whether the guest should pay the Full or Deposit amount to confirm the reservation
• Deposit Type - this option allows you to select the type of deposit, which is a percentage or fixed amount. It works if you select the Deposit type for the payment.
• Deposit Amount - here you should type the amount depending on the Deposit Type.
• Deposit Time Frame -  define the number of days to charge the full amount if the check-in date of the reservation occurs in fewer days than you set in this option.

• Force Secure Checkout - Force SSL (HTTPS) on the checkout pages. You must have an SSL certificate installed to use this option.
• Reservation Received Page - select a page with [mphb_booking_confirmation] shortcode (if you use block editor or Elementor you can add Booking Confirmation block/widget, for Divi it is Hb. Booking Confirmation
• Failed Transaction Page - it should be a page where you manually added text that will notify the guest that his payment was not finished. You may add further instructions or your contact information.
• Default Gateway - you can select the payment gateway that will be selected by default on the checkout page
• Pending Payment Time - set a time to let the customer finish the payment. If the transction is not finshed the status of Booking will be switched from Pending Payment to Abandoned.
