How to change the order of Accommodations (units) in the backend calendar

By default, the accommodations (units of the accommodation types) are ordered by the date they were created. Often the hosts and property owners prefer to change the order of Accommodations at Bookings > Calendar to view occupancy and availability in a more convenient way:

You can follow the steps below to learn how to change the order of the accommodations in the backend calendar:

1. navigate to Accommodation > Accommodations
2. hover the cursor over the Accommodation and click Quick Edit
3. add numeric Order value - the accommodation with the lowest value shows (ascending order)
   
   
   
   in the screenshot example, I applied the following values:
   
   Room 1 = Order 1
   Room 2 = Order 2
   Room 3 = Order 3
   Room 4 = Order 4

Alternate solutions

As another option, you can change the order of Accommodations with drag and drop by using third-party plugins like Post Types Order, Intuitive Custom Post Order, etc. If you prefer using the Post Types Order plugin, you will need to disable the option Auto Apply Sort at Settings > Post Types Order.

If you use the Intuitive Custom Post Order plugin, you will need to activate drag-and-drop order for Accommodations at Settings > Intuitive CPO.
